Cagayan River is now at MAJOR FLOOD LEVEL. Water level is at 12.4 m, exceeding the critical level of 10.0 m. Flooding of low-lying areas and communities along the river banks is expected. Continuous heavy rainfall upstream is contributing to the rapidly rising water levels.
